Holiday Card Series 9

And here we finally have 2010... Fritz's first Christmas and holiday card! The inside message says, "Kipper got hers early (Fritz)!!!" That's it for the Holiday Card Series. Hopefully you enjoyed it. ;) I wonder what mum will come up with for next year?

Holiday Card Series 8

2009's card contains mum's favorite picture of me. That explains why it's used as my profile shot. I'm super smiley because a.) I'm in the car and b.) we were heading to a barbecue — those are two of my favorite things in the world! The inside message of this one says, "Hope your holidays are filled with smiles!"

Holiday Card Series 7

In 2008, I was all alone. Fortunately, mum decided to carry on her tradition by continuing to make her own holiday cards... although it was hard this particular year. The inside message says, "Happy Holidays... May you go places in 2009!"

Holiday Card Series 6

This is the card from 2007... the last one that featured Bailey. He passed away a few days after Christmas that year. :*( Mum wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to design another holiday card again since he was pictured on them from the very beginning in the year 2000. The inside message on this one says, "Holiday wishes around the globe..."

Holiday Card Series 5

And here we have 2006. The inside message says, "Good things come in ALL packages! —
May the new year bring you joy, prosperity, and good fortune."

Holiday Card Series 4

This was 2005's card. The inside message says, "Hope your holidays are warm and fuzzy." Mum liked this design so much, she created gift packaging based on it!

Holiday Card Series 3

Here is 2004's creation. The inside is shown, so this one is pretty self-explanatory. ;)

Holiday Card Series 2

Here is what mum came up with in 2003. Even though we're bundled up in our sweaters, you can tell I still hadn't gotten used to the New England winters yet. I kept telling myself to think warm thoughts — that never works! Anyway, the message inside this card says, "Wishing you peace and happiness throughout the new year."

Holiday Card Series 1

My mum has been designing her own holiday cards for the past eleven consecutive years now. I figured I'd share all of the ones that feature me, which is most of them. I know, I know... it's hard to believe I've been around for so long since I still look and act like a spring chicken, ;) Anyway, here is the one she made in 2002 — my first Christmas away from Puerto Rico. That handsome fellow on the right is my late brother, Bailey. He passed away at the age of 15 1/2 right after Christmas of 2007. :( As you'll see, that hasn't stopped mum from carrying on her card tradition. The inside message of this one says: "Warmest Wishes this Holiday Season and Throughout the New Year."

The Kipper Seal of Approval

If you're lucky enough to live by a Trader Joe's, you should have your mum or pop pick some of these treats up for you. My mum can't decide which dog is cuter, so she always gets me both! They're made from real beef and chicken which makes them scrumptious. :9 They also sell yummy rawhides and equally delicious cookies. Sometimes they even have toys in stock... that's where my favorite monkey came from! It's a wonder mum ever has any room left in her basket for human groceries. ;)

Okay, the wrapper is off...

NOW WHAT???
If we can get the plastic back on, no one will ever know we attempted this!

Kiss the Cook

My mum says if I keep bugging her about the turkey, I can go ahead and cook it myself whenever I like. Um, I've never made a turkey dinner before — those birds are bigger than me! I'm not sure I can handle such an endeavor, but I'm always up for a good challenge. Although, I have a feeling this could end up like A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I'm pretty sure we've got some popcorn and a loaf of bread stocked in the kitchen!

Turkey Time?

I'm so excited that Fritz will be spending his first Thanksgiving with our family this year. I mean, what's not to like about a holiday that revolves around thankfulness and more importantly, feasting? :9 I don't even know how to describe how yummy a turkey dinner is. I guess he'll just have to see for himself... how many more Thursdays is it?! Do you like our hats? Our mum can credit one of her favorite stores for them — Paper Source.

Cat's in the bag

Here's a picture of Fritz playing with one of his favorite "toys." I don't know why my mum spends money on fancy toys for him when he prefers paper bags, plastic bags, and cardboard boxes. I guess cats are just easier to please than us pooches. Dogs rule!!!

Trick or Treat!

Just in case anyone didn't get a chance to look at boston.com, here is the photo that I posted last week. There are so many adorable doggies, kitties, and even bunnies featured, who are all dressed up... hopefully with somewhere to go! May everyone have a fun and treat-filled Halloween. :D

A message from the Taco Queen...

Everyone have a Happy and Safe Halloween!

I like my costume so much, I posted a picture of it on boston.com.

Thanks to everyone who is following this blog and/or posted comments so far. I have yet to learn how to post a comment myself, but I'm working on it!

Triple Ten

Today's date is 10/10/10... How cool is that? I think that's cause for a celebration. Speaking of celebrations, here's a picture of me at a holiday party last year. My mum says that I got drunk on treats. I say you can never have too many treats! I didn't even get a belly ache, but I did sleep like a baby that night. In fact, I'm getting sleepy just writing this. Zzzzzzz...

Is it time to eat yet?

How about now? In five minutes? Ten? Why aren't you feeding me now?!

Meet Fritz

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I've been busy. You see, on September 15th, my mum brought home a big surprise for me — a little kitty brother she named Fritz! He's about nine months old and already a whopping nine pounds and possibly still growing. He's a very friendly and playful boy and as you can see, he's made himself right at home. I'll be sure to post some more pics soon!

Ad Campaign

I think I should be the next Taco Bell mascot. I've even got a stage name picked out — Taco Belle! ;)

Rock the vote

I've recently taken an interest in politics and have decided to run for something. I just don't know what! Anyway, vote Kipper...
